Operations - Sri Ramanuja Philosophical Foundation Trust

Sri Ramanuja Philosophical Foundation Trust - SRPFT
(Estd : 1997, Regd. No. 69/1997)

 Operations

Sri Ramanuja Philosophical Foundation Trust is run by a Board of Trustees. They direct our Managing committee in both its strategy and operations, making sure that charitable objectives are always at the forefront of the decisions we make Trustees are not paid for the work they do, although they can claim expenses for travel. They are also legally liable if things go wrong - so the role is an extremely responsible one.

The most important quality we look for when appointing new trustees is a commitment to our cause and values. After that, we seek to recruit a mix of skills and backgrounds, including management, human resources and expertise of financial institutions.

Decisions about how we are run and our future are made at board and committee meetings. These meetings are attended by trustees, members of managing committee and non-trustee committee members, who contribute expert experience and who are not paid for the work they do for us.
